Carmen was born in Guatemala, Guatemala, on September 27, 1961. She was admitted to the Florida bar in 1987 and the Georgia bar in 1988. She is admitted to the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Georgia. She attended the University of Florida (B.S. in Acctg., magna cum laude, 1984; J.D., 1987) and Emory University. Beta Alpha Psi. Carmen has been a Special Assistant State Attorney General, since 1991. She is a member of the Sandy Springs Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. Carmen is fluent in Spanish. She focuses on Real Estate, Estate Planning, Corporate, Wills and Trusts.
