Who We Are

Dwyer Law Group was established in 1989, but Matt Dwyer has been practicing for more than twenty years. Formerly known as Strother, Weiner & Dwyer, Dwyer Law Group consists of our partner and one attorney of counsel to the firm, Carmen Suarez Mills.

We excel in providing professional advice and representation in cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, medical malpractice and eminent domain. Our focus on the needs of individual clients has led us to also develop substantial expertise in the areas of personal estate and trust planning and administration, business planning, and real estate matters. The needs of many of our clients frequently cross between these practice areas, and our goal is to coordinate these different yet related issues.

Our client base is extremely broad, including individuals, corporations, attorneys, medical professionals, consultants, software developers, suppliers, healthcare companies, national and local real estate lenders, construction contractors, builders, new business entities, developers, distributors and manufacturing companies.

Our Mission

From the initial formation of our law practice more than 20 years ago, we have striven to provide thorough representation to individuals who have been injured as a result of someone's negligence; to provide personalized representation to individuals, business owners and to executives of larger companies; to listen attentively to our clients to insure that we understand and implement their wishes and priorities; to provide professional advice to develop and explain our client's legal alternatives and implement our client's decisions; and to provide thorough representation to individuals and businesses who have been deprived of their property and rights in condemnation matters.

Our attorneys are experienced and have achieved many successful results for our clients. Matthew Dwyer has personally tried over 100 jury trials, has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and numerous record verdicts, including a record $3 million verdict for wrongful death of a housewife. Bill White has tried numerous cases involving condemnation law, business disputes, trade secrets and restrictive covenants, will probate and materialmen liens.

We pride ourselves on the reputation we have attained for providing quality legal services to our clients. Our firm is listed in Martindale Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice law.

Because of our experience and reputation, we maintain our practice almost exclusively through referrals from satisfied clients and other attorneys and through our association and involvement with community organizations. We are actively involved in local and state bar associations and in our community through charitable and civic organizations.
